Sorry everyone, it's been too long since my last update. I have been very busy producing marketing sales videos for my clients however I still receive residual income from my parked domains with WhyPark. Ok, I have not posted in my blog for a while, my bad. I have been quite busy making custom marketing movies with my multimedia development company, Cybernetic Media Inc.

I am pleased to report that my 80 or so parked domains in my WhyPark account continue to earn me revenue through ad network clicks, even while I sleep :)

I will be updating my blog more often in the future so stay tuned for more regular entries on what remains to be the best domain parking option on the web - WhyPark!

WhyPark - the ONLY logical place to park domains

I haven't posted in my blog for a while now and have been using that time to monitor progress with my WhyParked Domains. The result has been a slow but steady increase in traffic to all my domains I have parked with WhyPark, which has also resulted in a steady increase in my PPC earnings.

6 steps to success with WhyPark

Ok, it's been a few more weeks now and I am excited to report that many of my WhyPark parked domains (rich content sites) are starting to earn their keep. This is VERY exciting considering I setup these domains with WhyPark litterally days ago, and how little time I have invested.

So what have I done with each of my WhyParked domains?

Once I have setup a domain in the WhyPark domain manager and have tested it to ensure it is displaying relevant articles, it is time to do some basic WhyPark promotional techniques.

Below are some easy steps that I have taken to promote my domains parked with WhyPark. The result is a gradual but steady increase in traffic to my domains and in turn, a gradual but steady increase in my pay per click revenue. By following these steps, you too can be well on your way towards creating residual income from any domain name.

6 steps to success with WhyPark

1. Take advantage of sitemaps

Using sitemaps greatly increases your chances that google will index your domain quickly and effectively. WhyPark automatically creates a google sitemap for every domain you park with them. That's right! No more manually creating sitemaps or buying sitemap tools. This is a fantastic WhyPark feature, be sure to take advantage of it. You will need to setup a google webmaster tools account if you don't have one already. Then add a sitemap to your account for each of your domains setup in your WhyPark account. This is a sure fire way to ensure that google will index your domain and all of the pages and articles contained within it.

2. Sumit your domain to search engines and directories

The Google add url tool - Visit http://www.google.com/addurl/ and check to see if google has already indexed your domain. To do this type in your domain url using the following format ("http://www.yourdomainurl.com/") and click search. If no result is found, then use the google add url tool to tell google to index your domain. Don't be surprised if it takes weeks or even months for your domain to be indexed by google, just be glad that it will be indexed eventually :)

Next, do the same using MSN.com. First check to see if your domain is already indexed by searching for your domain url ("http://www.yourdomainurl.com/") using the MSN search. If not, click the "tell msn about this site" and submit your domain to be indexed. Repeat this step with any other search engine that offers free url submissions. There are other search engines and directories that charge a fee for indexing your domains.

3. Flog your domains using blogs

If you already have a blog, be sure to make a new blog entry about your new domain. You should also add a link directly to your domain in a links section of your blog. You may even consider creating a new blog dedicated to each domain you have parked using the WhyPark system. If you aren't into blogging yet, now is the time to start.

Tip: blogs tend to be indexed by the major search engines quickly :)

4. Write articles related to your domains

You don't need to be an accomplished author to write aritcles for Internet article sites. These sites will review and possibly publish your articles and your links included within the articles and your signature at the bottom of your articles. When your articles are used by other sites, they are required to use the article including any links you have included. This is a very powerful way to quickly increase traffic to any domains that your articles link to. If you are intimidated about writing, practice writing some short articles about any hobbies or interests you have. Before long you'll consider yourself an accomplished author ;)

5. Create custom whypark pages

Use the WhyPark custom page tool to publish your articles within your WhyPark sites. Most forums require that you make atleast 10 message posts before they will allow you to include links within your messages or your signature that is displayed with each post you make. Once you become an established member of a forum, ensure your signature contains atleast one link to a domain you want to increase traffic to.

Use the 6 steps highlighted above to promote any website you have, even those not parked with WhyPark. However, you can register new domain names and use the steps above to start your own WhyPark income generating system at any time.

Ok, it's time to tell you about some definite progress I am experiencing using WhyPark.

Of the now 79 domains I have parked using WhyPark, let's review the progress of just one in particular, http://www.importantrecalls.com/.

I registered this domain name on November 8, 2007 with the intention of making an informative website with real time news and information about, you guessed it, important recalls. The more I thought about what was going to be involved to make this site half as good as I intended to, the more I got discouraged and wondering why I had spent $10 on yet another domain name.

Things to note:

Nov 15th was the day I setup the domain in WhyPark which explains the higher than normal number of ad views that day as I was previewing my site (my own ad views)

Dec 2nd was the day I successfully submitted google sitemaps for this domain (I'm learning as I go) so you can see how essential that step is in generating traffic to your domains.

I am now averaging over 20 ad views per day, not bad for less than a month and only 15 minutes of my time invested to get up and running in my WhyPark account.

The domain parking myth

Park it and they will come. Not too likely!

If you want to get into domain parking because you have heard it's a great way to make some easy residual money without doing any work whatsoever, think again!

While it is possible to get "type-in" visitors to your parked domains, unless you have a REALLY good domain name, the chances of you earning anything significant from "type-in" visitors is slim to none. You will have to invest some time and effort into learning how to improve your domains visibility before you can get excited about actually earning any money.

WhyPark is the ONLY domain parking system that allows you to easily setup search engine friendly, rich content sites that you earn 100% of the advertising profits from! There are a few other parking companies that will host rich content sites on your parked domains BUT they usually want a big cut of your advertising earnings. My whypark update #1

Well, I have been dabbling with my WhyPark account for just over a week now and have to say that I am impressed. Though I am not rolling in pay per click earnings yet, I have seen progress with some of my domains as far as being indexed with google, and some of my domains are getting a few visitors each day already, which is more than before I had them parked with WhyPark. I will however take some credit myself for some of this progress, because I am fortunate enough to own several sites that have had top search engine rankings for about 5 years and I have used those sites to link to some of my WhyParked sites. This no doubt sped up my search engine indexing time, however WhyPark deserves a lot of the credit also. I now have the proof I was looking for, that is by simply parking my domains with WhyPark and doing very minimal promotion by way of linking and free url submission, my dormant domains now have earning potential. I now know that with more effort, link exchanging, keyword tweaking and regular performance monitoring, my domains are well on their way to making me money. Thank you WhyPark!

Ok, I admit it. I'm a bit of a domain name junkie. What exactly is a domain name junkie? My own personal definition would be anyone who has registered 20 or more domain names without having any specific purpose in mind for them.
